How to seal your windows, conservatory or roof window including frames with our Nanotol Household products
The secret of Nanotol is the longterm protection of the surface. A window treated with Nanotol stays clean much longer, looks superior and is protected against environmental influences in the long term. Our Nanotol sealant forms an invisible SiO2-based ceramic-polymer-hybrid protective layer on the whole surface, no matter whether it is glass, plastic, paint or metal. This layer prevents future contact between the surface and dirt. In practice, this means that you only need water for future cleaning using, a squeegee or microfiber cloth. This is quick, streak-free and sustainably protects the environment. The Nanotol protective layer retains the value of the surface because sealed window frames stay clean much longer. You won’t see any stains or dirt caused by rain or scratches on sensitive surfaces. Frames look as new even after years. Nanotol Household products are suitable for universal application, not only on windows and frames but for the complete household.
Required material
Step 1 - Cleaning
Preclean glass and frame with Nanotol Cleaner (STEP 1) thoroughly. This is important so that the pores of the surface are really clean and that the nanopolymers can attach evenly. You don’t need to prepare the surface before you start cleaning with our Nanotol Cleaner and you should not use any other cleaner which contains alcohol or anionic surfactants.
Step 2 - Sealing
Nanotol Protector is sprayed onto the clean surface, it dries within minutes and it is activated by polishing with a microfiber cloth. Protect glass and frames made of plastic, metal or painted wood with the same
product. The 
Protector is harmless for gaskets which can also be treated to repel dirt.
Microfiber cloth
It is necessary to polish with a high quality microfiber cloth to activate the nanopolymer sealant.
Cleaner Concentrate (1 Liter concentrate = 25 Liter cleaning fluid )
Dilute Nanotol Cleaner Concentrate with water 1:25 to 1:50, depending on the dirt intensity on the surface. This equals approx. 2 - 4 caps per liter of water. You can use our mix bottle to spray the diluted cleaner onto the surface. A bucket with water and cleaner concentrate is an alternative, however, the cleaner becomes dirty soon.
Heavy soiling
1:25 - 4 caps
Light soiling
1:50 - 2 caps
Our Household Set contains a 1 Liter spray bottle with foam nozzle which already includes Nanotol Cleaner. As soon as you have used up the diluted Cleaner in the spray bottle, refill with Cleaner Concentrate and tap water.

Clean the whole window, frame and gasket with Nanotol Cleaner thoroughly. The way the surface looks like after cleaning, protect it with our sealant and it will remain that way in future – with little effort.
TIP: Clean and seal your windows inside and outside. You will get a better light transmission similar to crystal glass. |

Nanotol Protector is a” ready to use” product in a spray bottle. Since the sealant does not contain any alcohol, you can even work when the sun shines. You can seal ALL surfaces like glass, frames and gaskets.

The sealing effect remains intact for a long period,
if you clean Nanotol-coated surfaces only with pure water and a microfiber cloth. Remove stubborn dirt with undiluted Nanotol Cleaner. Commercial window cleaners, soaps and other cleaning agents mostly contain anionic surfactants and alcohol which harm the Nanotol protective layer over time. Also anionic surfactants and alcohol in glass cleaners can slightly reduce the durability of our Nanotol Sealant. Pay attention to the ingredients of any cleaning agent.
Rain drops roll off
Nanotol Protector repels water and dirt. That doesn’t mean that you don’t have to clean your windows anymore. You will notice that less dirt sticks to the surface and that you spend less than half as much time cleaning, and when you do it, it’s done in no time because dirt is not firmly attached to the surface and can easily be removed with water .
Replenish the sealant
The effect lasts 2-3 years. Use Nanotol Household 2in1 to prolong this effect.
General information
- The working temperature is between 1 and 40 °C
- The Nanotol layer is resistant to constant temperatures up to 200°C
- The sealant complies with the requirements of the § 31 (LFGB) food, commodities and fee etrusted-widget and it is multiple certified.

Cleaner Konzentrat (1 Liter Konzentrat = 25 Liter Reiniger)
Verdünnen Sie Nanotol Cleaner Konzentrat je nach Verschmutzungsgrad 1:25 bis 1:50 mit Wasser. Das entspricht ca. 2 -4 Verschlusskappen pro Liter Wasser. Sie können dazu unsere Mixflasche nehmen, mit der Sie den verdünnten Reiniger direkt aufsprühen können.
