To check if Nanotol is suitable for your facade:
Once coated, your facade becomes dirt-repellent. Often, a rain shower is enough to clean it. You can also use a garden hose or pressure washer—Nanotol’s coating remains intact.
There is a simple drop test to try this out:
Nanotol is not suitable if the water could not be absorbed. In that case, there may already be a coating on the surface or the surface is sealed, e.g., glazed, so it cannot absorb water. In this case, Nanotol cannot penetrate and would not work.
Nanotol is only worn off by abrasion. Without abrasion, the effect of the coating lasts at least 10 years. Abrasion occurs through wind and rain. On a side sheltered from the weather, abrasion is lower than on the weather-facing side. Therefore, a general statement about the duration of the effect cannot be made easily.
Nanotol makes the facade dirt-repellent. Therefore, the facade can be cleaned very easily. Usually, a rain shower is enough. You can also use a garden hose or pressure washer. The Nanotol coating is not affected by this.
