Important notes before coating:
If your fireplace is very sooty, it is helpful to make a large and hot fire the evening before the planned coating. Soot is the result of incomplete combustion at too low a temperature and/or too low an oxygen content. A large, hot fire burns off soot residues.
Note: All cloths included in this kit are suitable for washing machines up to 95°C and can be washed many times.
You need a soot sponge, Nanotol Home Cleaner, cleaning cloth, Nanotol microfiber cloth.
Remove the dusty soot with the soft side of the soot sponge. Vacuum the sponge.
Remove the stubborn soot with the hard side. Vacuum the sponge.
Spray some fireplace glass cleaner and distribute it evenly on the glass with a wet sponge cloth. Let it sit for 10 seconds, then clean the glass again with the hard side of the soot sponge. Remove the dissolved soot from the glass with the Nanotol microfiber cloth and water. Repeat if necessary. In particularly stubborn cases, additionally use abrasive ceramic hob cleaner or similar for the first time.
Remove all residues of the fireplace glass cleaner and finally dry the surface. The cleaner the initial cleaning is done, the better and more evenly the Nanopolymers of the fireplace glass protector can adhere to the surface.

Spray the Nanotol Protector inside and outside on the clean fireplace glass. Moisten the white sponge cloth with the protector and distribute the protector evenly and thinly over the entire surface. You will see the liquid form small windows and the water contract. Let the protector dry. A gray haze forms. Finally, polish the dry surface with the white microfiber cloth until the glass shines. The smoothing of the surface is noticeable. Soot can now only adhere with difficulty.

The protector keeps the fireplace glass clean longer, but it still needs to be cleaned regularly. This is easy and quick with the fireplace sponge. Rub sooty fireplace glass dry with the sponge. The sponge absorbs even stubborn soot.
After dry cleaning, spray Nanotol Home Fireplace Glass 2in1 on the pre-cleaned glass and remove the remaining dirt with a microfiber cloth. Nanotol Home 2in1 refreshes the protector layer and improves the effect additively with each application. Even with regular 2in1, it is helpful to make a large fire the evening before to burn off the existing soot.
TIP: Regular use of Fireplace Glass 2in1 builds up the nano protective layer additively. The effect improves with each application. Soot can be easily removed dry with the fireplace sponge after a few repetitions.
